To help connect, equip, and organize Christians who meet outside of more "traditional" church organizations. The site is still under construction, but we do have some significant things online such as the blogs and forums. We are working on recruiting writers, forum administrators and such, so if you are interested please contact us. At the very least sign up and become a part of the community.

fallen into disrepair

not really using this site any more... sad...

Moving Forward

So, we have worked on adding a couple new features to the site recently. A scripture reference plug in and another to allow avatars in the forums and comments. Not sure if that last one is a good idea really, but avatars are fun right.

Considering going to the house church conference in Dallas/Ft. Worth this year. One additional motivation is we might be able to promote this site and all the potential it could have. Networking I guess they call that.

What features do find most valuable on this site

Protecting people from dangerous ideas is dangerous

The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools.
- Herbert Spencer

The Blog & Forum Functional

It took a little time but we now have two of the main features we wanted for this site operational. Operational doesn't mean all that fantastic (yet) because right now we are still waiting on meaningful content. That will come though. The catch with this site, not unlike many truly useful social sites, is that you have to have an account to really participate. Sign up, and recruit your friends!

How do you like the new site?

We're online in a more serious way!

Homefellowships.org has been progressing very slowly since January 2008. But thanks to the Drupal CMS we were able to find an easy way to implement a lot of the features we hoped to see included in this site. In the following months and especially over this summer this site should develop into what it was initially envisioned to be.
